At Sound Decisions, we proudly welcome youth between the ages of 10 and 17 into a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Our home is built on respect, inclusion, and understanding—regardless of ethnic or religious background. We're here to guide and support each resident as they grow, heal, and make positive choices for their future.

Residential Services

Sound Decisions (SD) is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth who have been removed from their homes and families. Our goal is to create a-like atmosphere and provide individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each youth in our care. We offer educational and professional services, including personalized safety plans, treatment plans/services, accommodations, and modifications for those with disabilities. At SD, we value respect, effective communication, and cultural diversity, and we strive to equip our youth for a successful transition back into their communities or a smooth transition to a permanent placement.

Our program is designed to:

• Help residents develop self-control and appropriate social skills

• Assess the individual needs of each resident, promote growth, and address any problem areas.

• Provide tutoring as needed and serve as advocates for their educational programs.

• Conduct weekly individual and group counseling sessions aimed to enhance the emotional state of our residents.
